Alright, hello and all of that stuff. If you're looking for a layout tutorial, then you've come to the right place. I've disabled comments due to my being too lazy to check this site everyday, so if you have any questions or comments, contact me via my layout site, and ask them there. Thanks. Well, well, well...you want to become a layout maker, huh?

Mhm, congratulations. Now, let me inform you of what you're getting into if you honestly do choose to open a layout site:

A lot of your free time is going to be sucked up if you're truly devoted to your site and subscribers. It's not an option, it's the truth.

You're bound to get some jockers [thieves] if you're actually good at layout making, so watch out for them, too.

And maybe a few haters? They're always fun. But spamming them is even more fun. -ahem.-

I'M GETTING OFF TOPIC.

Speaking of making good layouts, please, please don't make a layout site if you just use a stylesheet and change the background. That is not what is required to make a layout. You actually have to change the hexes, fonts, and basically, just get everything looking...well, perfect. :/ In your eyes, at least. And once you're honestly pleased with how your layout looks, then go ahead and create a layout site. :]

As for the name of your layout site, it really doesn't matter. Just make it tasteful, not something like..."OmgzIMakeLayoutz". But really, just make it catchy and you're bound to have people to come to your site in no time. Anyway, onto the stylesheets. The things that can make or break your site.

Stylesheets--what make your layouts yours.

Here are some stylesheets you can use. I didn't make either of them, and I give xanime_tutorialx complete and total credit for them. Remember, you can always add little things to your layouts that give them that *wow* effect. Like glitters, falling pictures/objects or headers. Find whatever works for you and stick with it. ^.^

Q&A:

Once I get the code for the layout that I want on my site, what do I do with it? - Go to your L&F (Look and Feel), and paste the code into your custom header.

What?! I put the code on my site, but it doesn't look right! What did I do wrong? - You probably put it in your website stats. If not, then just ask the person who made the layout to find out what's wrong with the layout.

I've read EVERYTHING on this site, and I still can't make a layout. What should I do? - You can IM me on AIM and ask me questions if you like. My SN is SasukexGaara. I'll try my best to walk you through it.

Ok, I've started my layout site. And I've even made a few layouts, but my backgrounds aren't showing up. What did I do wrong? - Well, you see, Xanga has been doing some maintenance lately. But don't worry--just go into your look and feel of the layouts that have messed up, paste the stylesheet into a textarea box. It should look something like this on your page. I read everything on your site...but I can't figure out how to add glitters to my layout? - No problem. I added how to add glitters onto the regular stylesheet. Hope it helps.
